Funny memory of Robert. This was after one of the lunches that River and I and some Atlanta Vol fans used to go to weekly in Atlanta, at Tony's on Holcomb Bridge Rd. Robert wanted to show me his new house, so I rode with him in the new van they had purchased (for the girls) over to see it. As we were going down the access ramp onto GA 400, we were having a nice conversation, and I saw a giant pothole in the road ahead. It was like a crater. It was so obvious, there was no way you could miss it. So I just assumed he would swerve around it. But as we got closer, I realized he didn't see it. I yelled out, "Robert! Watch it!" BAM! Robert says, "Oh my God, what was that?" "Pothole. Sorry, I figured you saw it." I thought for sure flat tire, but the van emerged unscathed.Last edited by BillVol; May 18, 2012, 07:08 PM.Comment
