A great player and gentleman that changed the way baseball was played.

    RIP Mr. Wills.

I remember Wills breaking Ty Cobb's record. I remember Lou Brock breaking Wills' record. I remember Ricky be Ricky breaking Brock's record.
    I'm old.
It's TIME. The Vols are back.

Keep posting baseball topics, Harry. I'm here for you, even if no one else is. I'm even here for baseball during Florida week!

I'm always here for baseball. We should have a separate page for us Cardinals Fans for Life.

Second to the Cardinals, I loved the 60's Dodgers with Koufax, Drysdale, Wills, Willie Davis, Tommy Davis, Junior Gilliam and our very own local Claude Osteen. Then I learned to hate the Dodgers in the 70's and beyond. During that time, the Braves moved from 3rd to 2nd on my faves list.

A little before my time, but I can understand how one would like them. I would loved to have seen Koufax pitch. For a 5 year period, he was as good as anyone ever has or ever will be.

He was the stolen base king before Lou Brock.

Koufax, Drysdale, Osteen, Podres, Messersmith, Singer, Hooton, Erskine, Perranoski, Tommy John, Welch, Sutton...the Dodgers always, and I mean ALWAYS have great pitching. And, they have the third-best uniform in MLB.
