The representative was proof that eloquence isn't a pre-requisite for election in Florida.

I got an old south chuckle that the speaker (a male voice so it wasn't NP) recognized the "lady, ....er....woman " from Florida for a five minute speach.

Check our lively thread on the morass board. We need an English to Florida dictionary for this one.

It's some locale north of Jacksonville, or as I like to call it South Georgia.

Amazing how some politicians can't talk on a fifth grade level.

Sad, very sad. This is an example of what people choose to represent them in making decisons regarding how to spend our tax money and protect our families. This person couldn't work the front counter at McDonalds.

Now I am starting to understand why most elected leaders never read the legislation prior to voting on it.

That is why I believe there should be an "intelligence test" instituted by law that must be passed before one can campagin for Congress or President and Vice President. Have it on the level of say the SAT or ACT only with more knowledge of current events and foreign policy history.
Had that been in place we would have never had either Dubya or Go Gayduh ever in public office.
