...LOVE this place. (like Kanpai)

I could eat there everyday. Quickly seated, rice in 5 minutes and food ready in 5 more, entertaining for the fam to watch the guy cook. Food's always good.

Is that the one in Red Bank/mountain view area Chatta? I went to that one once and they had a round eye choppy choppy cook that had mad skills. The japper steakhouses seem to be losing favor these days now that there is a sushi joint on every corner.

There's one on Hwy 153 where the Bilo used to be, next to Formosa (really good Chines food) and then there's another on Hixson pike next to O'Charleys.
There's prolly no more than 4 miles distance between them by way of the crow flies....don't really know why they opened the 2nd one so close....but they did.

Don't really do the Sushi thang but i do hear a lot more about them here of late, must be a yuppy thing. ;) j/k

Your right about Ichiban. I go to the one on Branierd because it is about a mile from my office. Chatta, you need to go eat at "Rain". They have great sushi. It is on Lee Highway next to The Rush. I usually go run 3 miles and then nail some sushi and then go to work and take a huge shit.

TIG, is your tour coming through Chatt this year? not that I give a shit or anything

I love that place.

Chattavegas also has a few good "fast food" type Jap places. There is one on Hixson Pike where the old Wendy's used to be and one in Red Bank (can't remember the name of either). Great food and fwide wice for less than 10 bucks. Used to be a great one over in the East Ridge area too (had a blue roof) .. but I heard it closed down.

Dalton Georgia has a GREATTT one .. called Ginga or Jinja or something like that .. quality rival anything you'd get at a cook in front of you place. Only Eight daawa ... me wub you wang time!

Wish we had one of those "cheaper" style Japanese places in the 'ham.
