Way to blow it Perry.
Mickelson was the one who really blew it. Misclub at #12 cost him 2 strokes, and all those short little putts missed. He could have easily finished 14 or 15 under.

Perry did tank but Phil left 5 shots on the course.
And Angel hits trees left and right and comes out luckier than a dog with 2 dicks.
He had no idea where the ball was going off those trees

Seems I remember a guy named Tiger Woods blowing it in this very same tournament.
Cabrera has game. Can you say Cabrera Slam?

Tiger didnt blow anything. Tiger doesnt miss 3 and a half footers for eagle or hit balls in the water. CANT BELIEVE Mickelson hit a knockdown 9 iron on 12 when he just saw Tiger hit a full 8.
Just plain stupidity.

Tiger blew numerous opportunities all week, otherwise he wins the tournament. Same for all of those who did not get into the sudden death playoff.

I hope Perry doesn't have access to sharp objects for a few years. I think that he thought he had the damn thing won when he stuck in within a foot or so on 16 to take a two shot lead with two holes left. Whew what a choke job. I bet every hacker in the world enjoyed watching the last hour or so of the Masters. I've always wanted to see shitty shots hit by pros shown on TV and today I got my wish... The ole chunky monkey finally snuck onto Augusta National!!!

He was beating the dogshit out of the field (especially the groups behind he and Tiger) on the front nine thru 11.
Then he goes and pulls a stunt like he did on 12. You've got to miss that one left and long, he missed it exactly opposite of that. And no it wasn't because he used the wrong club, he just didn't hit it.
I can see his missing the eagle put on 15 as Tiger missed almost the same put just before him, causing him to misread it.
It's really a damn shame because had he not fukked up on those 3 holes on the back, that would have gone down as the best come from behind win at the Masters ever.

It totally was the wrong club, plus he didnt hit a full shot which added to it. A 9 iron spins just as much as or more than any club in your bag. NO WAY you even take a chance of hitting that club there and coming up short cause you know its gonna spin back. He could have hit the same shot with an 8 and flew it 10 yards farther and it would have backed up to the hole. I swear Phil was playing some kind of bravado by using one less club than Tiger. He made it a point a few years ago that he was flying it past Tiger's ball off the tee. You can say one thing about Phil though, he was not intimidated in the least bit playing with Woods like most guys, if not all, are.
How in the hell he missed that putt on 15 when he saw that Tiger's ball didnt move it just unreal.
I almost felt jipped watching it.

I said before the last round started that Cabrera wouldn't shoot another round in the sixties, he didn't have to. Big props to him for hanging in there and grinding it out after starting so poorly.

when Phil put it in the creek. I don't think he was trying to leave it right....I think he just mishit the ball.
The crowd surrounding Tiger and Phil was out of hand.
My plan for the day was to put my chair at amen corner (as you can seen them come into the 11th green - watch them tee off and putt at 12 - and then watch them tee off on 13). Go to seven and hang out until everyone went through. Go back to AC and sit and watch them go through there and then go to 18 and watch the finish.
Standing on 7 was very nice but as Tiger and Phil got closer and closer to 7 the crowd got bigger and bigger and more unruly...and loud. It was like an event within an event and by the time they reached 7 I was getting squeezed from every angle....some dipshit photographer was trying to worm his way in front of me, people behind me were cussing because they couldn't see...it's amazing what a couple of lite beers will do to some folks.
At any rate the only thing that really sucked was that fact that the finished on 10, as I didn't feel like trying to race back to 10 for the second OT hole only to race back to 18 for the third - so we bet that they would both par 10.
Perry just lost his edge at the end....which is a shame as he's really a class act and showed that by the way he conducted himself all week.
Sunday was a the best golf event I've ever attended BY FAR, with the weather, venue, competition and atmosphere...........

and watched the weekend on TV. When the crowd decides to gather, it is hard to see what is going on. I was at the comfort of some outdoor bar near Lake Mary, Florida. (bartendress wearing bunny ears?}Warm breeze and cold ones at hand. Sad and unfortunate finish for Perry.
